Another stellar wine from this esteemed Mosel producer that clearly expresses the red slate soils that the grapevines are grown in. Perfumed with ripe stone fruits, but on the palate it's fully expressing a dark mineral core with a grainy texture and a hit of spice on the finish. There's some juicy stone fruit here that makes the wine really pleasing to drink, but for sure this is a mineral Riesling.
