Samuel Tinon is originally from France and now farms from two plots (about 8 hectares total) around the village of Tokaj. The cuvée Birtok or 'Domaine' is 100% Furmint sourced from both the volcanic soils of Mt. Tokaj and the clay soils of the Határi vineyard, fermented and aged in used Hungarian oak. Quince and green pear, oily lanolin texture, citrusy acidity, structured with a strong mineral backbone
