Villié-Morgon, Beaujolais, France
Beaujolais Village level rosé made of 100% Gamay, grown in a mixture of granite and clay, fermented and aged in stainless steel vats with just enough skin contact for a beautiful pink pigment. Very clean and lean with only 12.5% abv, showing violets on the nose, white strawberry and prickly pear fruit on the palate, and a mineral structure similar to the famous rosé's of Provence.
