Mostly Frankovka Modrá (Slovakian Blaufrankisch) with a little Cabernet Sauvignon and Alibernet (Alicante Bouchet and Cabernet hybrid) with all four winemakers on the label. Hand harvested, fermented with native yeast rested in neutral oak for 18 months, and bottled with minimal sulfur. Fresh high-toned red fruits of wild strawberries and red cherries with the minerality of Blaufrankish really peeking through. Excellent integration of fruit and mild brambly tannins with lots of refreshing acidity, chillable and lean at only 12.5% abv.
