STANLEY’S WINE CLASS
ESSENTIAL FRENCH REDS

There’s been no greater influence on American perception and understanding of wine than French wine. From Thomas Jefferson’s passion for imports that he directly oversaw to today’s American vineyards and wineries that overwhelmingly favor French grape varieties, the overlap of French and American wine culture can hardly be overstated. But what exactly are these original French wines all about? And why doesn’t the language of wine overlap neatly between French and American versions? In this class, you’ll get a lot of those answers as you taste through six red wines that are essential to understanding and experiencing French red wine.
Join founder John Stanley on Wednesday, June 4th at 6pm for this 1st ever event and part of a series of classes in 2025 that will explore the world of classic wines in an approachable and fun format.
*Please note $10 of the class fee is a service charge that goes directly to the staff supporting the event. Admission includes tastes of six wines, instructional materials, snacks, and the $10 service charge.
