Shipping & Returns

What states can I ship to? At this time, Stanley’s can ship alcohol to the states of Alaska, California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Any orders containing alcohol placed for shipping to states other than these will be canceled.

When can I ship? We pride ourselves on the wines, beers, and spirits we carry, and we want the to be at their best when you enjoy them. Temperatures over 80 degrees or under 30 degrees can damage or destroy wine if encountered in transit. We highly suggest that you hold your shipments until those weather conditions have subsided. We will happily hold them in our climate-controlled warehouse for you until the weather has improved. If you must ship, we strongly recommend using an expedited service. Stanley’s is in no way responsible for damage caused by heat or cold, should you choose to ship your wine.

My shipping cost seems wrong! Our website is calibrated to return correct shipping rates for bottles of wine or multiples thereof. If you are buying beer, food items, glassware, or anything else that seems to be returning a strange shipping price, please give us a call or email us for an updated shipping quote.

Do you offer local delivery? Yes! Same-day delivery guaranteed if the order is placed at least 1-hour before closing time. Note: most deliveries will be completed within 1 hour of order placement. If you can’t be home to accept the delivery, please call us to arrange a suitable time or alternative. If you are not home for an attempted delivery, the order will be returned to the shop for pickup.

Stanley's Wet Goods cares deeply about product quality, and therefore reserves the right to refuse shipment via common courier (i.e. FedEX) if temperatures exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit in either shipping or consignment locations. We are happy to provide additional temperature controlled shipping methods if the temperature approaches, meets, or exceeds this temperature. Additional charges may apply. 

What is your return policy? All sales are final. Returns are only accepted in case of fault or defect, and only at management discretion and for replacement or store credit. No returns accepted on any bottles five year or more past the vintage date.
