The grapes of Romirasco come from the single vineyard of the same name in the Bussia district. The vines are up to 55 years old. Full-bodied and very powerful with elegant structure, incredible depth and crunchy tannins. Flavors of raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry, leather, licorice, rosemary, thyme, violets, and roses are complemented by balsamic notes. Pair with steak au poivre dishes with truffles, or mature cheeses.
